APL Hole In The Wall is a daytime takeout window connected to APL, a fun steakhouse in Hollywood where you can throw down a lot of money. They serve casual things like sandwiches and chili dogs, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have the chance to drop some money here. What we’re trying to say is there’s an absurdly expensive $50 beef sandwich on the menu. It has prime rib, pickles, and onions, and it’s good, but not worth the money unless you’re the kind of person who doesn’t know sandwiches should cost $20 or less. The rest of the menu is more reasonably priced, with a good chili dog, and a $9 beef sandwich on Texas toast.
