For a date in Mt. Baker, a neighborhood that doesn’t have many restaurants to begin with, Iconiq is a clear winner. There’s a beautiful view down Rainier Valley out your window, a menu full of French and Japanese things like miso clam chowder or salmon crepes with wasabi cream, and a (very nice) chef who usually greets you at some point during your visit. The whole experience isn't too stuffy, but still works great for a special occasion.
