Earl’s is a classic deli off Fenchurch Street that makes sandwiches the old-fashioned way - they’re massive, satisfying, and perfect for an al desko lunch if you work in the City. The tuna melt and roast beef sandwiches are the ones to get, and always ask for extra horseradish with the latter. You can even get a Scotch egg for the walk back to your office - we’re not judging.

Sub Cult sells gourmet subs to hungry City folk at breakfast and lunch. There’s usually a line, but the staff are jolly and the food’s worth the wait.
