The Malt House

The Malt House is a pretty decent pub in an area with a lot of bad bars. It’s in the part of Greenwich Village directly below NYU, but you won’t find too many college kids throwing up in here. It stays pretty calm, and you can either sit up front and watch a game or hang out with a bunch of friends in the back room. They also have a full menu (with bottomless brunch on weekends), and the beer selection isn’t bad. Plus, it doesn’t smell terrible in here. With pubs, that should never be taken for granted.
