The trendy person’s rooftop of choice, the bar at the top of the Netil 360 building in London Fields is a good call for when you can’t be arsed to venture west of Bethnal Green tube at the weekend. There’s a 360-degree view of the East London skyline - including the canal and some cool old silos, but also the City in the distance - and also a DIY vibe going on that fits the area perfectly. There is also pizza.
The best parties involve drinks, pizza, and tunes. Crate Brewery in Hackney Wick has all three, and tons of space to sit by the canal on a nice day.
Aviary is one of London's best rooftop bars, with a huge terrace and excellent views of the City.
Martello Hall is an great bar-meets-pizza restaurant on Mare Street in Hackney. Bring your mates at the weekend, or visit it late night.
Leg’s is a restaurant in Hackney Central serving a small Mediterranean inspired menu of excellent seasonal small plates.
