The strange little French spot on La Brea might not have the finesse of Republique down the street, but it makes up for it in charm. The menu is large and has every French staple in the book, the owner’s accent is so thick you can barely understand him, and in case you didn’t notice on your way in, you’re eating lunch inside a giant antique store. C’est la vie.
