After’s is best known as that ice cream spot you always see on your Instagram and wonder if it’s actually good or not. Update: it’s very good. (Which is why we had it at EEEEEATSCON.) With flavors like milk n’ cereal, peanut butter s’mores, and the bright blue cookie monster, After’s is not your old-school ice cream parlor. Toppings can get crazy and if you aren’t piling it all into one of their signature milky buns (basically a doughnut wallet), you might as well not even come. There are locations throughout the OC/suburbs but LA’s closest locations are in Pasadena and Long Beach.
