Morty and Bob’s is the best place to drop in for brunch and daytime hangs around the Broadway Market area, especially at the weekend. Hidden up several flights of stairs in Netil House, it looks like the dream London loft you’ll probably never be able to afford, with loads of plants and trains rumbling past from the adjacent Overground line. The brunches at Morty and Bob are excellent - they’ll do you a solid smashed avocado, but you really want to get in on the cheese toastie action, as they make easily one of the best in town. And even though there’s booze on top, they’re not open in the evenings.
