Mestizo is where London’s Mexican people actually go to eat Mexican food. Besides doing some very decent tacos and enchiladas, they’ve excellent versions of Mexican comfort dishes like mole verde with pork, and obscurer items like sauteed cactus (it’s good, we promise). Though there’s a modern feel to Mestizo, it doesn’t get in the way of the friendly vibe that’s good for groups. Try one of the aged tequilas from their ridiculously detailed selection - it’ll put your favourite whisky to shame.
