The Lately

The Lately is right next door to the Dream Hotel in Chelsea, which means that it’s essentially in the Meatpacking District. For the location, however, it’s a pretty good bar. They make great cocktails, they serve some food, and it’s an attractive space. So if you work in the area, stop by for an early-evening drink. Or if you have to meet some friends around Meatpacking and they all want to go drink $20 vodka sodas at a club down the street, see if they’ll come here instead. There are a couple of couches, a few big booths, and a second floor where you can book a table in advance.
