Le Charlot

Le Charlot is casual, but you’ll probably see someone wearing fur here. Or, if it’s warm out, there might be a sweater draped around someone’s shoulders, yacht-club style. This is a small, slightly pricey French bistro on the UES that’s a decent option for the neighborhood, in part because your server might have a French accent. It isn’t the greatest food of all time, but it’s a good place to stop and eat something when you’re wandering around the UES - especially if you’re on a date. If it’s summer, sit outside.
