Puesto Sandwich Stand

Puesto is a cafe that serves mostly Cuban and Venezuelan food, and it’s not at all the type of place you’d expect to find in Wrigleyville. And that’s what makes it a great little spot. This little cafe hiding underneath the L on Sheffield just south of Roscoe is ideal for grabbing a quick lunch or dinner any day during the week. Try any of the Venezuelan arepas or go big with their Cubano. A side of plantain chips or cup of elote is always a smart idea, and there’s plenty of strong Cuban coffee.
