Chelsea’s all about nice places to sit, and the area isn’t lacking for them. The Ivy’s SW3 outpost is a bit less rah, and a bit plusher than the average (which is to say then, really quite classy) but it really comes into its own when the weather warms up and sun comes out - their garden at the back is pretty damn lovely. The brasserie-type food is totally forgettable - you’ll struggle to remember what you ate immediately after your waiter clears your plate away, but as a functional spot for things like meeting your interior designer / spiritual guru, it does the job in style.
