When we took our gap year, we came back with a few “hilarious” stories and a strange rash. When the owners of Moro came back from travelling, they opened up a Spanish/Moroccan restaurant that helped put Exmouth Market on the map.

Moro was one of the first to make the use of seasonal produce a thing nearly 20 years back, and still today, their regularly-updated menu will take you on a mini adventure, combining local meats like rabbit with some of the great spices and flavours they encountered on their travels.

The restaurant itself feels like you’re at a sophisticated dinner party with your mates - the mates that became full blown adults, who can name a couple of regions in Italy where wine is grown and have avoided anything social with 'Full Moon' in the title for a full year or so. Come to Moro with those people. It’s Perfect For a catch up and a lively night out. Maybe not as lively as a gap year, but those days are over.
