CoffeeWorks serves some of the best coffee in London, and this branch also has a sizeable menu of quality food, particularly the salads. Weekdays are easiest for bagging a table, but you’ll still find lots of laptop slaves throughout the day. Like any remotely decent food source in the area, it’s rammed both days of the weekend. In warm weather, get an iced coffee and drink it in the garden.
If you’re in Islington, use Appestat as a place to get some work done during the week. The coffee is good, and the food selection doesn’t hurt, either
Coffeeworks has the best coffee close to Southwark Station, as well as fast wi-fi and plenty of space to work and hang out.
Fields Beneath is a vegan cafe next to Kentish Town West overground that's perfect for a sit down, or a quick bite before jumping on the train.
This Middle Eastern supermarket, one of the best food shops in the area, has a café where you can eat an inexpensive lunch of wraps or mixed meze.
