The alcoholic slushies (which you can get with guava, passion fruit, or strawberry) aren’t the only reason to go to Palm House, but they are a pretty good one. You’ll also find tropical decorations, a good Happy Hour, and a nice patio. It’s suitable for a first date - order some guacamole and tacos when you get hungry.
Pagan Idol is a tiki bar in the Financial District. Their tropical drinks and atmosphere are good for a group hangout.
Marengo on the Alley is a restaurant that serves sliders and cocktails in the Financial District. Good for a quick bit and drinks after work.
Novela is an upscale bar in the SoMa that serves literary themed drinks in a modern, book-themed atmosphere.
