Mission Cantina is one of most overlooked casual dinner spots in Hollywood. The tiny Mexican spot on Sunset doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they serve solid food at affordable prices in a mellow environment you actually want to hang out in. Also, Tuesdays are $1 taco night.
Cactus isn't the best Mexican food in LA, but at 2am on a Saturday, it certainly does the trick.
Despite its tourist-trap location, Te’Kila on Hollywood Blvd serves great, cheap Mexican food and very much deserves its crowd.
Loteria Grill in Hollywood is a chain, but they serve good tacos in a casual space that lets you forget you’re in the thick of Hollywood Blvd.
