This is a “post-modern Polynesian” restaurant/bar serving vegan foods like mango poke and butternut squash dumplings. And while this might be exciting for vegans, most other people come here for the cocktails. They make fun tiki drinks that look really cool. Like the Shark's Eye. It comes in a vessel shaped like a shark’s head, and you’ve probably seen it on Instagram. That’s the spirit of this place in a nutshell. It's a good time, doesn’t take itself too seriously, and it's just a little bit tacky. We don’t mind. Come here for a few drinks or some vegan food the next time you want something a little different in the East Village.
