LifeThyme a health food store in West Village with a juice bar in the back. The name makes it sound like a place your vegan yoga teacher would shop, but don’t let that scare you off. It’s a reliable place to do your healthy-ish grocery shopping and to get a juice. You can’t customize your order, but they have a few leafy and sweet options, and the smoothies are good too.
Mr. Piña is cheap, efficient, and where you go for all your juice and fruit needs in Williamsburg.
A tropical-looking shack on the very not-tropical corner of 1st & 1st, Juicy Lucy has juices, smoothies, and acai bowls all for under $8.
Peacefood is one of our favorite vegan spots in town (and especially in Union Square). Go, but beware that the chickpea fries are addicting.
Bluestone Lane is all over Manhattan now, and that’s a good thing. But for a full-on meal, we still like the original spot in West Village best.
