Who knows what the name means. Maybe it’s Norwegian. If you’re really that interested, just use Google translate. All you need to know is that, this is just a nice, bright coffee shop in Park Slope where you can get a quick, well-made breakfast or lunch. Come have some buckwheat pancakes or a masala-spiced chicken salad. Nothing really costs too much, and they even roast their own coffee beans. But if you plan on bringing your laptop, know that there might be restrictions at peak hours.
