In neighborhood where your lunch options might appear to be limited to a halal cart, TGI Fridays, and a place where you have to wear a jacket and know a minimum of French, The Little Beet is a welcome sight. Sure, you aren’t going to craft an Instagram homage to the kale you eat here (unless you’re just that sort of person), but you can have a few vegetable sides and a protein and leave feeling pretty healthy. It isn’t the cheapest fast-casual operation, but you pay for what you get. The food is fresh, and they’ll even heat up your salmon for you. That's service.
