Ample Hills Creamery
Every fancy ice cream shop has their thing. Some places serve just the classic flavors. Others will top yours with fairy tears if you pay enough for it. Others are trying to make hip ice cream a thing you eat in Swedish spa-looking shops. Ample Hills is none of those things. What it is, however, is a joyful place to get made-in-Brooklyn ice cream in seriously creative flavors you actually want to eat. They originally got famous for their “crack caramel,” which is basically saltines, caramel, and chocolate mixed together in a way that, as you might guess from the name, makes it impossible to stop eating. Be careful.
