The Beatrice Inn used to be a club. It was exclusive, popular, and one the best places to see and be seen. Then it became a restaurant, and lots of the appeal faded (because the food wasn’t that great). But now it’s under new management, and we like it again. The chef/owner used to work at The Spotted Pig, and you can tell from the food - it’s on the heavier side, and the type of cooking isn’t all that different. They also serve just about every kind of animal, including lamb, beef, rabbit, and wild boar. So if you’re a boar aficionado, and you only eat the wild kind, get over here. For everyone else, come here the next time you want to spend a chunk of money and eat somewhere that’s nice and fun (but not too clubby).
