Hummus Place looks like a chain, and it sort of is. There are two locations (one uptown and another in the West Village). The food is Middle Eastern, and hummus is the main event. But there’s also shakshuka, falafel, couscous, and salad. This is a very casual spot where you could eat in your gym clothes, and it’s both kosher and vegetarian.
