The Drift is a new bar from the people behind The Commodore and El Cortez. Unlike its rowdier predecessors, so far the vibe at this place is pretty low-key. The theme is something like a cabin upstate, but only because there’s a lot of wood and taxidermy. Otherwise, as of now it’s just a pretty normal bar with some pretty average bar food.
The Commodore is bad. Bad because merely looking at the food here will jack up your cholesterol thirty points, and worse because everything is so good that you’ll crave it all the time.
The new Pies ‘n’ Thighs has opened its doors, and Williamsburg’s most influential hipsters are rejoicing. This new, larger location is still turning out amazing fried chicken and comfort food classics.
Syndicated is a bar, restaurant, and movie theater in Bushwick. Come here to watch a TV show projected on the wall, for a laid-back drink, or to eat.
