There are a lot of Furious Spoon locations in the city, but this is the original. The Wicker Park space is very small and crowded and plays the same loud rock music as the other locations. The menu is the same too, with ramen that has a rich broth and housemade noodles. Our favorite bowl here is the Furious Ramen, with tonkotsu broth and pork belly. And in case you don’t want to eat in a busy space while listening to Audioslave, this place also does a great job with takeout - everything is packed up separately so you can easily take it to eat in your quiet apartment

Kyoto is our go-to neighborhood sushi spot. It might look average, but the food is much better than that.

Awesome shellfish in a basement dive bar complete with year-round Christmas lights. Go eat all the crab and drink all the beer.
