This place serves a similar purpose as other standard wine bars like Bar Veloce, but on Broadway, if you need an option a few blocks further east. It’s connected to a relatively corny restaurant below called Punch, which you should avoid. However, although its name might suggest differently, Wined Up is a nice spot where you can actually hear the person you’re talking to.
The Clocktower in the Edition Hotel is a Flatiron facsimile of a popular restaurant in London. And it works here just as well as it works over there.
If you’re the type to get really excited about really good cocktails, Raines continues to be an excellent choice for special occasion drinking.
Thanks to the prices, this casual(ish) bar in The NoMad hotel probably isn’t a place that you can afford to visit often. But when you do, eat dessert.
Sweetwater Social is somewhere between a big bar and a club, and it tends to get a lot of action at peak times. Use it for larger groups.
