This Mexican restaurant in the South Loop has some hits and some misses. Their tacos, made with fresh tortillas, are a hit - you have a choice of steak or al pastor, and both options are great. The Mexican cheese board, on the other hand, is boring, with flavorless queso fresco and requeson cheese. The flautas are another hit, the tostaditos another miss. Overall, inconsistency and a limited menu make this the kind of place you should check out only if you’re already in the neighborhood - or if you’re hoping to watch a game (since there’s a huge bar and plenty of TVs, it’s a great space for watching sports with a group).
