Bunker used to be in Ridgewood (where we gave them an 8.4), but now they have a bigger operation in Bushwick. It’s a little hard to find (no sign), but once you get there you'll find a good crowd, good music, and friendly service. The soundtrack's a little loud, but you won’t hear Top 40, and it keeps the place lively. All that, and the Vietnamese food here is more flavorful and authentic than you'd expect. This is the place to go with five friends on a Friday night out in Bushwick.

Pho Bang image

We eat our fair share of pho, and have to say that Pho Bang satisfies like no other. There aren’t many things better in this world than a huge bowl of oxtail broth with noodles and fixins – and this one is super flavorful and perfectly rich.
