Causwells
Included In
Causwells is the ideal AM landing place after a blurry night out. The all-day Marina spot will wake you up—it’s decked out with peacock-shaped tiles, teal accents, and photographable touches like mini maple syrup squeeze bottles and cocktails served in giraffe pitchers. While they’re open for dinner, the menu is best at brunch. Go ahead, soak up all that excess margarita with banana bread, french toast bites, and the Americana burger, a double smashburger that’s served all day and the most memorable dish here.

While the nighttime menu makes for convenient sustenance post-watching something at the Presidio Theatre next door, most of the dishes lack oomph. The pastas lean bland, and appetizers like deviled eggs or house ricotta are underwhelming. You’re better off ordering the burger and a frozen rum cocktail and calling it a night. Or just come in the daylight hours for a better path to success.

Americana Burger
It’s pretty simple: if you’re coming to Causwells, you’re ordering the burger. The double smashburger arrives dripping with house sauce, and you’ll easily polish off the super-thin onion strings that ride shotgun.
Brioche French Toast Bites
These french toast bites are pillowy in the center and soak up the maple syrup without getting soggy.
Cochinita Hash
Throw potatoes and slow-cooked pork on a plate and there’s not much that can go wrong. This is a nice savory option for brunch.
Semolina Tagliatelle
An okay bowl of pasta. You can do better at home.
