Flats Fix (aka Taco Shop)

Flats Fix is a little place next door to Coffee Shop in Union Square, and it’s from the same people. This place specializes in Mexican food, however, and it’s a lot smaller than its neighbor. There’s just one long bar and a few tables, and the atmosphere is very casual. So if you want to sit down and eat a quick taco or a torta near Union Square, this is a good place to know about. They typically do a few varieties of each, like brisket, pastrami, and carnitas, and there’s also a full bar if you want some tequila to go with your food.
