As my husband, who was born and raised in Barcelona, said when I cross-checked Bar Ramon, “Yes! I love that place, we always used to go there. But maybe you shouldn’t tell everyone, so it doesn’t get ruined.” That should tell you pretty much all you need to know, but we’ll clue you in that the vibe at this place is casual, distinctly local and old-school, and the decor pays tribute to rock and roll. What you wouldn’t expect from such a traditional-looking place is great and imaginative tapas, which Bar Ramon has in spades.
