Mr. Fong’s is one of the smallest bars on the Lower East Side, but it still doesn’t get as crowded as places like Pianos. And that’s probably because it’s all the way down by the Manhattan Bridge. If you’re willing to make the trip, you’ll be rewarded with some good vibes, an always-decent playlist, and a crowd that’s less vomit-prone than the one you’ll find a little farther north.
