Rice & Gold is the restaurant in the bottom of the 50 Bowery Hotel, and it’s huge. The space is just one big open room with bar to one side and a bunch of tables and booths, and it feels a little like a place where you’d eat with a group before taking a Hummer limo to place where they do bottle service. The food itself is broadly Asian, with things lobster fried rice and pho soup dumplings, and it’s all kind of pricey and fairly underwhelming. Spend your money elsewhere.
