There’s a lot of poke in LA, but Da Kikokiko in Playa Vista is a newer spot giving the more established players a run for their money. The tiny joint isn’t all just bowls of fresh fish though - they’re also serving a few flavors of musubi (that would be giant warm sushi with spam or teriyaki chicken on top instead of fish), and their Hawaiian-style shaved ice situation is worth the trip alone.
