Marché in East Nashville is a great place to go for a low-key brunch. This bistro serves excellent pastries, crepes, and omelettes, along with a really good croque madame. If you can’t make it to Marché early enough, their sister restaurant Margot is located next door and serves really good French and Italian food for dinner, along with a wide variety of wines.
When you want a really good burger, a strong cocktail, and to sit at a large wooden bar or table with strangers, head to Burger Up in 12South.
Mas Tacos Por Favor in East Nashville makes some of the best tacos in town. They also have great tortilla soup and elote, if you can’t live on tacos alone.
Rolf & Daughters in Germantown is where to go for fantastic small and shared plates and interesting wines, along with a great garden patio.
Arnold’s Country Kitchen is a great meat and three spot for weekday lunch or for when you want to eat Thanksgiving food and it’s not November.
