Eli’s Table is the restaurant version of a famous NYC deli (Zabar’s), so you should expect to see everyone from infants to 97-year-olds eating at 9:30am on a Sunday. They have dinner, wine, and cocktails, but the menu gets way less deli-ish after 5:30pm. So we suggest you come for brunch, when they serve kinda-pricey Jewish classics (the bagel with lox is $16), and things like oatmeal and grapefruit (see age range above) and a chopped liver sandwich.
