Most cafe/bar hybrids have a pretty clear transition point when they stop serving coffee, start making cocktails, dim the lights, and turn up the music. The changeover at The West is far less distinct. People will grab a coffee to go at 6pm while others make use of happy hour shot and beer combos at the bar. The lights may be dimmed inside, but some people will still be typing away on their laptops in the backyard. If you’re looking for a coffee shop with a real bar program or a bar with solid caffeine, check out The West. The breakfast burrito is also a good way to start the day.
