Melody is in a converted bungalow opposite Sqirl, and is good for many situations. Date night? Sit in the dimly lit main room, and get some wine and French-ish food (like a chicken cordon bleu sandwich) to share. Group dinner? There’s a big side patio with heaters, blankets, and more wine. After-work drinks? They have a “wine down” Happy Hour from 5-7pm (5-11pm on Mondays). With friendly service and a neighborhood feel, it’s the kind of place Virgil Village people will end up at regularly for drinks and snacks.
