Open since 1953, this classic Koreatown steakhouse has been serving the community for over 60 years. We’re talking steaks, potatoes, steamed vegetables, crème brulee, cheesecake, and… well, not much else. Each is cooked with a straightforwardness that’s always appreciated (and just the way we like it). Oh, and definitely order a Manhattan - they're f*cking delicious.
Food Rundown
New York Strip
This steak is thick and topped with a mountain of onion rings. It’s not the most tender (tenderest? Most tenderest?) cut on the menu, so make sure your jaw is prepared to do some work.
Spencer Steak
A thinly cut, boneless ribeye. Amazingly tender, thanks to the high amounts of marbling.
Manhattan
What else are you supposed to drink at a steakhouse? Nothing fancy here; just perfection. Highlights the best flavors of the whiskey while mellowing any hint of harshness.
New York Cheesecake
A classic dessert to end a classic meal. Like everything else at Taylor’s, this isn’t flashy or innovative. It’s just perfection in the form of cheesecake.
